THE PICTURES
Of course I believe I take good pictures, but you should judge for yourself - there are many samples in the gallery.
I'm happy to work with clients toward a particular creative goal or provide guidance where necessary. If you need an image but don't know what it should be or how to go about getting it then contact me.

DELIVERY
I work digitally and can usually supply photos within a day of taking them. Most clients prefer to receive photographs in electronic form, on a CD or via email. I can also arrange for prints to be made and advise on sizes and finishes. I can optimize images for print or web use and advise on file types and sizes.

IMAGE CORRECTION & MANIPULATION
As well as basic image adjustments, like colour correction, cropping and sharpening, I can carry out more drastic image manipulations if required. For example: conversion to black and white while retaining the photo's impact; selective colouring; creating composites from several photos; preparing artwork for publicity material, print or the web. If you have an effect in mind or a style you'd like to replicate I can accomodate you.

RATES
I charge per job, or per hour depending on the nature of the work, and I'm quite flexible. Please call or email to discuss what you require - you might be surprised how little professional photography costs.

For example, to cover a business conference a typical rate would be £25/hour + £25 processing fee + expenses; I could cover a night of live music for £50; a single, specific shot for use in a magazine might be £25 + expenses.

When we've agreed a fee I will produce an invoice which should be paid within 30 days of delivery of the photographs. For new customers and for jobs with significant up-front costs I may require a deposit of 25%. Usually the only expenses I charge are for travelling costs - train or bus fare or mileage for which I will provide a ticket/receipt.)

LOCATION
I'm based in Cardiff and do most of my work in South Wales, though I'm happy to travel.
