Shellac are the best band. That staement requires no qualification. One thing that you won't know from their extrememly angry records is that live they are also the funniest band. During one of their in between song Q&A sessions with the audience I got to ask Bob Weston, "Are you now, or have you ever been, a member of the communist party?"
He replied, "No sir!"
